SUPPORT AND FAQ

Ask us anything.

Answers to the questions we hear most, and a direct line to the LIOS team for everything else.

In an emergency, do not use this page. In the UAE call 999. For free mental health support at any hour, call Al Amal Hospital on 04 519 2500.
What is LIOS?

LIOS is the social platform for personal development. It works like the social apps you already use, with a feed, profiles and messaging, but everything in it is designed to leave you better, not busier: a quick private check in called Pulse, a private diary, challenges that earn real rewards, checking in on friends, and licensed support whenever you want it.

Is LIOS free?

Yes. The platform is free for everyone, with no subscription and no paywall. Pulse, challenges, the diary, exercises and the LIOS Shop cost nothing. The only paid services are sessions with licensed support providers, and if your employer or university offers LIOS, they may cover those for you.

Who can use LIOS?

LIOS is for adults aged 18 and over.

When will LIOS be available?

LIOS is coming to iPhone first. Pre register on our homepage and we will tell you the moment it is live.

How do challenges and points work?

Pick something to commit to for 10, 20 or 30 days and check in once a day with one tap. Finishing earns points you can spend on real rewards in the LIOS Shop. Points can only be earned, never bought, and they cannot be exchanged for money.

Can my friends see my wellbeing information?

No. Your Pulse check ins and trends are visible only to you. Your diary is private by default and nothing in it is posted unless you choose to. In a group challenge, friends see only whether you checked in that day, never how you answered.

Can my employer or university see my data?

No. Organisations that offer LIOS only receive anonymous figures about their people as a group, and only for groups of at least ten active people. They never see names, diaries, messages, who used support, or anything that could identify you.

Does LIOS sell my data?

No. We do not sell your personal data or your wellbeing information. Our privacy policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how you can remove it.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and your data from the app, or by following the steps on our Delete account page.

Is LIOS a therapy app?

No. LIOS is a social platform, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. If you want professional support, you can reach a licensed support provider in the app, by booking a live chat of 20, 40 or 60 minutes, or by sending a question and receiving a written reply within 6, 24 or 48 hours.

What should I do in an emergency?

LIOS is not a crisis service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999 in the UAE. For free mental health support at any hour, call Al Amal Hospital on 04 519 2500. Crisis lines are always visible in the app.

Can my organisation give LIOS to its people?

Yes. Companies and universities fund one shared wallet that their people can draw on for licensed support, and everyone they invite gets full access to LIOS for free. Use the form on this page and choose Business to talk to us.
